　　映画版の舞台は、みちおがイチケイを去ってから2年後。岡山県瀬戸内に異動となったみちおは、史上最年少防衛大臣にまつわる傷害事件を担当することに。事件の背景にあったイージス艦衝突事故を調べていくも、航海内容は国家機密のため、伝家の宝刀である“職権発動”が使えなくなってしまう。一方で千鶴は裁判官の他職経験制度のもとで弁護士となり、みちおの隣町で地元大企業に関わる事件を担当。そして一見異なる2つの事件の間に、隠された真実が浮かび上がっていくことになる。

　　Do-gyeong jumped in to save his student Jiyong from drowning.
